Terms and Conditions for Your
PlasticNow™ MasterCard® Card
This document constitutes the agreement ("Agreement")
outlining the terms and conditions under which a PlasticNow™
MasterCard® Card has been acquired by or issued
to you. By acquiring or accepting and using the Card,
you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained
in this Agreement. In this Agreement, "Card"
means the PlasticNow™ Prepaid MasterCard®
Card issued or acquired by you. "You" and
"your" means the person or persons who have
received the Card and are authorized to use the Card
as provided for in this Agreement. "We," us,"
and "our" mean Mint Inc., our successors,
affiliates or assignees. "Card Account" means
the records we maintain to account for the value of
claims associated with the Card. You acknowledge and
agree that the value available on the card is limited
to the funds that you have loaded onto the Card, or
have been loaded onto the Card on your behalf. The expiration
date of this Card will be indicated on the Card. The
value available is recorded in your Card Account and
will decrease each time you use the Card to make a purchase
or cash withdrawal. You agree to sign the back of the
MasterCard® Card immediately upon receipt. The Card
is owned and issued by People's Trust pursuant to license
by MasterCard International. Services in administering
the Card are provided by Mint Inc. The Card will remain
the property of People's Trust and must be surrendered
upon demand. The Card is nontransferable, and it may
be canceled, repossessed, or revoked at any time without
prior notice subject to applicable law. Please read
this Agreement carefully and keep it for future reference.
You may use the Card to make purchases wherever MasterCard®
is accepted. The Card does have a Personal Identification
Number ("PIN") and can be used to obtain
cash at ATMs displaying Cirrus®.
The Card will be valid and usable until either all
the purchased monetary value is used or the expiration
date of the card, whichever occurs first. The PlasticNow™
Card has an expiry date one year from the date of
issuance. The Card is re-loadable at any time through:

Any Plastic Now Inc. authorized
PlasticNow™ Card Merchant Load Centre whose
locations are provided for Your convenience on this
website, and

Pre-Authorized Debit ("PAD")
via paper form, and
-
Bill payment via telephone banking,
ATM, PlasticNow™ Card to PlasticNow™
Card transfer, selected credit cards to PlasticNow™
Card transfer, or web banking.
Funds loaded to the Card may be
available within approximately 3 business days after
the load is initiated. Some forms of loading result
in a substantially faster balance availability, such
as card-to-card transfer, than others such as online
banking. You may not load to more than $2000 balance
on the card. The maximum and minimum load amounts at
a PlasticNow™ Card Load Centre are $350. and $5.
respectively. All other load methods have maximum and
minimum load amounts of $500 and $10 respectively. The
maximum allowable for POS purchases is $1100 per day
and the maximum amount allowable for cash withdrawals
from ATMs is $325 per day (combined ATM and POS daily
limit is $1100). The number of POS purchases and ATM
cash withdrawals are 10 and 5 respectively. YOU ARE
NOT ALLOWED TO EXCEED THE BALANCE OF THE FUNDS AVAILABLE
ON YOUR CARD.
When You use the Card, the amount of the purchase
and/or transaction plus any applicable fees for the
transaction will be deducted from the unused monetary
value. If the amount of value available is not sufficient
to complete the transaction or purchase and pay any
fees, the transaction may be denied. If You know this,
we suggest You tell the merchant that You want to
do a "Split Tender Transaction". In other
words, use what's left on Your Card and pay the balance
with another form of payment. (If the amount of value
available is not sufficient to complete the purchase
or transaction and pay any fees, a merchant may not
accept combining the Card with another form of payment
and You may not be able to complete the transaction).
Any spending overdraft may be immediately repaid to
the Issuer and/or our co-brand partners from the next
load of funds. If You are entitled to a refund, You
agree to accept credits to Your Card in place of cash.
You may obtain information about the unused monetary
value on your PlasticNow™ Card by checking your
online statement at www.myplasticnow.com
or by calling toll free at 1-800-589-5033.
Statement information is ONLY available online at
www.myplasticnow.com and must be
checked at least once per month. Paper statements
will not be provided.
The Card is like cash. It may be used without a PIN
to make purchases. However, a PIN is provided for
Your use and protection for withdrawing cash from
ATMs. You should not disclose Your PIN to anyone else.
If You lose the Card, someone might be able to use
all the remaining value. The zero dollar liability
policy is a benefit to You as You will not be liable
for any unauthorized transactions made with Your lost
or stolen Card unless You have been grossly negligent
or have engaged in fraud. The zero dollar liability
does not apply to ATM transactions where a PIN is
used.
If You lose Your Card and/or PIN, You may call us
toll free at 1-800-589-5033. If You
give us the name on the Card and the Card number,
we will refund any remaining balance less our processing
fee after we process all transactions completed before
we have had an opportunity to act on Your information.
You must exercise reasonable care in safeguarding
the Card from risk of loss or theft. The replacement
will not be made for 60 days after You report the
Card lost or stolen to assure that all transactions
have been processed properly.

If You think a receipt is wrong or if You need more
information about a transaction, we must hear from
You no later than 60 days after the receipt was issued
on which the problem or error appeared.
If Your Card has expired with unused monetary value
remaining, we will refund the unused value less any
fees plus our processing fee, 12 months (6 months
if card is used as a payroll card) from the later
of the date of last value load or 30 days after expiry
date. You must send us in writing the name of the
Purchaser of the Card, Your mailing address, Your
name and the Card number.
The Card represents a general liability to the issuing
partner companies. The money paid by the You the Purchaser
is not a deposit and does not establish a separate
Individual deposit account. You will not receive interest
on the Card account balance. The unused monetary value
accessible by the Card, and Your rights regarding
the use of the Card, are not insured by the Canadian
Deposit Insurance Corporation, are not deposits of
the Issuers, service providers, or Plastic Now Inc.;
and are subject to normal risks. If You authorize
or permit someone else to use the Card and/or PIN,
You will be liable for any transactions made by that
person.
We may disclose information to Plastic Now Inc.’s'*
co-brand partner about You and Your Card. The Card
is not a credit card and usage will not enhance or
improve your credit rating.
PlasticNow™ MasterCard® Card Fee
Schedule (subject to change)

Initial Sign-up Fee (one time)
| $24.95 plus applicable taxes
This amount is the purchase fee and sign-up for
your card. Included in this purchase amount is a
$5.00 value placed on Your PlasticNow™ Card
at the time You have activated it.

Monthly Maintenance Fee | $7.95
This fee is billed to cardholder on a monthly basis.
It provides 3 free IVR balance inquiries per month,
2 free IVR transaction history inquiries per month
and 1 free IVR PIN change per month. Plastic Now
Inc. reserves the right to charge additional fees
if cardholder exceeds free transaction limits. Please
see 'Additional IVR Transactions' below for more
information on fees.

Replacement Card Fee | $25.00
This fee is charged to replace a lost or stolen
Card and courier to cardholder.

Foreign Transaction Fee | 2.5%
Foreign currency transactions for purchases and
ATMs will be converted to Canadian dollars under
the applicable rules of MasterCard International.

Inactivity Fee | $1.95
This is a monthly fee charged against any unused
monetary value each month the Card remains inactive
after expiry date.

Refund Processing Fee | $10.00
This is a fee for processing any unused monetary
value upon expiration of the Card.

ATM Withdrawal/Cash Advance
Fee
$1.50 Domestic | $3.50
International
This fee is charged for each ATM withdrawal or cash
advance obtained.

ATM Balance Inquiry / Transaction
History Fee | $0.95
Future transaction - not currently available. This
fee is charged for each balance inquiry or transaction
history on an ATM.

Load Fees | $4.95
This is a fee for re-loading the Card by PAD or
bill payment.

Chargeback Fee | $10.00
This is a fee when a cardholder generates a dispute
but the merchant did not make an error.

Card to Card Transfer | $2.50
This is a fee for transfer of funds from one PlasticNow™
card to another different PlasticNow™.

Credit Card to PlasticNow™
Card Transfer | 3.5%
This is a fee for transfer from a credit card to
your prepaid card.

Additional IVR Transactions/History/Balance
Inquiry | $2.50
This is a fee per transaction for exceeding the
services included in the Monthly Maintenance fee
which are specified above. For example, a use charge
for a transaction history inquiry when the included
2 calls per month limit has been exceeded. See Monthly
Maintenance Fee above.
Changes to fees will be posted on website www.myplasticnow.com.
Use of your PlasticNow™ Card means that you
have agreed to and accept fully the terms and conditions
including the fee schedule provided by Plastic Now
Inc. on the www.myplasticnow.com website and updated
from time to time. Application for, registration
of, and use of Your card is your responsibility
and we have no liability for any process, transactional,
software, hardware, or human errors within the PlasticNow™
Card program.

Peoples Trust is the principal member of MasterCard
International. PlasticNow™ is a product of Plastic
Now Inc.
It is solely your responsibility as an applicant
cardholder to ensure you meet the terms and conditions
of the PlasticNow™ Card program. You agree that
the parties in the PlasticNow™ Card program
bear no liability should you provide incorrect, incomplete,
or information that does not meet the confirmation
requirements of Peoples Trust or Mint Inc. Your registration
form on the www.myplasticnow.com secure website may
require you to provide details of a "government
ID" for identity check purposes. The options
for this ID will include, minimally, any one of: social
insurance number; drivers license number; passport
number and country; immigrant visa number; student
ID number and school; citizenship certificate number.
A bureau will complete a 'look up' to confirm that
the address you have provided is a residential address
and not a mail drop or other inappropriate location
as solely determined in the opinion of Peoples Trust
or Mint Inc. This is not a credit check and will not
show on the bureau record for credit enquiries and
will not affect any credit scoring process. For addresses
or information that cannot be immediately confirmed,
Peoples Trust or Mint Inc. may contact you for additional
confirmation of information. Once identification details
and the address verification has been confirmed in
the sole opinion of Peoples Trust or Mint Inc., the
card will be issued and sent to the address given.
If you are declined, you will receive refund instructions.
Address Changes Should your address
change you are required to notify us of that change.
